Substantive development of the Duncluce Castle site, including a high quality interpretive heritage visitor experience.
Development at Dunluce will deliver a world class visitor experience that will preserve the unique heritage of the Castle, engage visitors with the story and history of Dunluce and encourage greater linkages with the other sites on the Causeway Coastal Route.
It is hoped that by 2019 the substantive development of the site, with a high quality interpretive heritage visitor experience will be complete. This will protect the heritage, improve accessibility and visibility of the Castle and safety for visitors. There are audience development plans beyond this to ensure that by 2021 Dunluce is a ‘must see’ destination on the Causeway Coast.
