- Assessing digital needs and evaluating emerging technologies to determine their relevance and feasibility
- Prioritising and resourcing the portfolio of digital projects, including the establishment of a DDaT Programme Board
- Coaching strategic and project leaders to drive digital change and continuous improvement.
Digital, Data and Technology Strategy, 2024-2030
This strategy marks a critical turning point for Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, laying the groundwork for an ambitious programme of change designed to fundamentally transform its ways of working and enable the service to better serve people and communities.
The DDaT Strategic Objectives are to:
- Modernise legacy technologies and processes
- Enable the strategic use of data
- Build a digitally agile workforce
Embracing digital solutions will empower NIFRS employees to work more efficiently and effectively. This will not only enhance productivity but create an environment where innovation can flourish.
