SIB was created to help deliver long-term transformation projects for the benefit of everyone in Northern Ireland. Pivotal to that task is advising on investment planning and implementation.

Partnership is crucial to what we do. We support government departments and agencies by helping them with investment planning and investment delivery.

Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland (ISNI)

Development and maintenance of a long term Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland (ISNI) is one of SIB’s core statutory responsibilities.

Our support with reform projects includes work to help improve delivery systems and processes

SIB Specialist Strategic Support for our Partners – Strategic Support Unit (SSU)

A unique demand-led service within the NI public sector, providing a team of advisers who are available to provide expert assistance to central and local govt.

Social Value

The Social Value Unit work with public bodies to design, implement and monitor social value that is included in their contracts.

Social License

Social License provides approval to deliver projects and investment beyond those secured on paper by business cases or planning consents
