Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland (ISNI)

We work with The Executive Office, Department of Finance and spending departments in order to create this crucial strategy. It sets out priorities and objectives for investment in infrastructure such as roads, transport, schools, health facilities, social housing, water infrastructure, etc.

Vision 2050: People, Planet, Prosperity

Three strategic objectives underpin this vision, which are aligned with missions stated in the draft Programme for Government.

Each of the strategic objectives is underpinned by a cross-cutting principle that we have public services that are both resilient and responsive.

A unique demand-led service within the NI public sector, providing a team of advisers who are available to provide expert assistance to central and local govt.

SIB support for Councils – Council Support Unit (CSU)

Providing support to Councils across a number of programmes and projects

Social Value

The Social Value Unit work with public bodies to design, implement and monitor social value that is included in their contracts.

Social License

Social License provides approval to deliver projects and investment beyond those secured on paper by business cases or planning consents
